Komatsu Zenoah Co merged with Komatsu Forklift Co Ltd to create Komatsu Utility Co Ltd  back in April 2007. This was a basic structural reform of its utility equipment business, the point of which was to create synergy in Komatsu technologies. They succeeded in reducing costs by consolidating their production and purchaser’s operations in Japan and overseas.
