Forklift tires come in many varieties as some are designed for specific purposes while others are designed for general material handling usage. Fork truck and forklifts are manufactured by a variety of companies like Linde, Clark, and Hyster they are powered by a variety of methods including electric and internal combustion. Depending on your specific application, you should have tires especially for the task at hand: pneumatic, solid, and polyurethane.
Pneumatic Tires
Pneumatic tires are tough and durable and look just like the tires that are employed on most heavy-duty trucks. They are commonly employed to support the forklift handle rough terrain. They are created from powerful and thick rubber including a deep tread. These forklift tires are filled with air and aid the forklift last longer by supplying an air cushion between the forklift and the ground.
Solid Tires
Some forklift tires are made of solid rubber. Even though they look similar to pneumatic tires, they are not filled with air as they are completely produced of solid rubber.
